Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sterling French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). French comes to the cage accompanied by Cemetery Gates-Pantera. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French has a takedown stuffed.
Morgan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and French counters with a nice double leg into side control. Morgan won't be happy with that.
Morgan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
French tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no French has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Morgan tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but French presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

and French counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
French wants to control from the top but Morgan keeps moving.
French drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Morgan dives on top into guard.

French has his foot on Morgan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morgan works his way back into a safe position though.

Morgan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. French did well to prevent Morgan getting side control.
Morgan is taking a breather. French says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Morgan wants to control but French is keeping him busy.
Morgan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

French gets to his feet. Morgan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

French manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for French, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
