The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
el padrino shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hayfore as he jumps to the side.
An inside leg kick lands from Hayfore.
Hayfore misses with the combination.
Hayfore throws a head kick that half lands.
el padrino shoots in looking for a takedown. Hayfore tries to sprawl out of it but el padrino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hayfore manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
el padrino drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
el padrino is looking to take a break and control but Hayfore is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
el padrino tries to move to mount but Hayfore blocks the move with his legs.
el padrino gets to mount! Hayfore was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

You get the feeling that Hayfore really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hayfore is trying desperately to improve position.
Hayfore tries to hold on but el padrino pushes him away.
el padrino has isolated one of Hayfore's arms. Hayfore looking to fight him off but el padrino twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
