Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Klatchen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hurt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Restless and Wild. Robert Hurt told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hurt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Klatchen swivels and escapes.
Hurt shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hurt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hurt stops Klatchen from getting back to his feet.
Hurt is working for a submission of some sort.
Klatchen is looking to escape.
Hurt is looking to take a break and control but Klatchen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hurt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hurt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hurt is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Klatchen has managed to free his arm - good work.
Klatchen is trying to maintain the position but Hurt is very close to passing his half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Klatchen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hurt counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Klatchen's guard now.
Klatchen keeping moving, preventing Hurt from controlling successfully.
Hurt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hurt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hurt looks gassed!

Hurt tries to free his leg and advance position but Klatchen is retaining full guard.
Hurt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hurt postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Klatchen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hurt, into his guard.

Klatchen is looking to stand up but Hurt won't let him.

Hurt looking for a sweep. Not yet Hurt, not yet.
Klatchen wants to stand but Hurt has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Klatchen wants to pass the guard but Hurt is keeping the position.
Klatchen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hurt is looking for a triangle but Klatchen pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Klatchen lands a big head kick that sends Hurt tumbling to the mat! Klatchen takes a step backwards and waves Hurt back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hurt is rocked!
It looks like Robert Hurt has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Klatchen seems to be stalking Hurt here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Hurt drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
