Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Louis Lake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Macek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piotr Macek told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lake will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Macek tries for a takedown but Lake circles away easily

so Lake counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lake is breathing heavily.
Macek looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Macek manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lake manages to get himself to full guard.
Macek is pushing down on Lake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lake is fighting to maintain full guard but Macek has managed to sneak the leg through.
Macek is trying to control. Lake wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Macek prevents Lake from standing back up.
Macek tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Lake.
Macek seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
