Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Bigsnake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederick Malrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Bigsnake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frederick Malrey! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Bigsnake as he connects with a hook. Bigsnake tries to move into range but Malrey moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Malrey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Malrey looks for a takedown but Bigsnake sprawls well. Malrey shoots in but Bigsnake avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bigsnake walks into a stiff left hand from Malrey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bigsnake cracks Malrey with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Frederick Malrey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Malrey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bigsnake circles away. Tyler Bigsnake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frederick Malrey. Bigsnake fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Malrey throws a right and a left that both miss. Malrey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bigsnake as he avoids it easily. Malrey is looking to clinch but Bigsnake is avoiding it.
Malrey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bigsnake defends it nicely. Malrey shoots for a takedown but Bigsnake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malrey gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bigsnake throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Malrey works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bigsnake controls from within his opponent's guard. Malrey trying to control the position.
Malrey looks gassed! Bigsnake looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malrey trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Malrey preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Malrey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bigsnake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bigsnake stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bigsnake lands an overhand right. Malrey moves in looking to clinch but Bigsnake pushes him off. Malrey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Malrey has his takedown stuffed and Bigsnake makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Bigsnake dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bigsnake fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Malrey sprawls well initially but Bigsnake persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bigsnake with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bigsnake seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Malrey for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bigsnake wants to work for an arm triangle but Malrey is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bigsnake prevents Malrey from improving his position. Malrey is breathing heavily. Bigsnake is thwarting Malrey's attempts to control the position. Bigsnake wants to pass the guard but Malrey is defending well.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bigsnake scores with a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bigsnake circles away from the clinch attempt and Bigsnake counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bigsnake is looking to score with low kicks. Malrey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bigsnake.
Malrey misses with a looping right. Bigsnake is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bigsnake thows a body shot but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malrey misses with a takedown attempt and Bigsnake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bigsnake is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Malrey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Bigsnake counters with a nice uppercut. Bigsnake scores with a takedown into Malrey's guard. Bigsnake forces his way into half guard. Malrey is trying to control but Bigsnake manages to pass to mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bigsnake content just to control the position here. Bigsnake landing strikes, looking to finish! Malrey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Malrey might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bigsnake kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bigsnake fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Bigsnake is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Malrey is surviving well by controlling Bigsnake's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Bigsnake dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bigsnake attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Malrey misses with a takedown and Bigsnake counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bigsnake is figuring out what he wants to do next. Malrey takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bigsnake frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Malrey is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malrey wants to control but Bigsnake is having none of it. Bigsnake will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bigsnake takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bigsnake's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Malrey is looking to improve his position but Bigsnake isn't that keen on the idea.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bigsnake lands a big shot there that rocks Malrey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tyler Bigsnake overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Malrey in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Bigsnake working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Bigsnake controlling from the full mount. Malrey is trying desperately to improve position. Frederick Malrey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tyler Bigsnake is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. And that's the end of the fight! Tyler Bigsnake showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bigsnake has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
