Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Evo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and frank mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Evo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, frank mir! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! mir clobbers Evo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. mir pulls out of a head kick attempt.
mir throws a head kick that misses. Evo moves into the clinch. Evo landing knees to the body.
mir drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Evo is pressed up against the cage. mir has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Evo down to the mat. Evo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Evo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. mir throws a jab when Evo was well out of range. Evo drives through with a takedown into guard. mir is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Evo is aware though and is defending well. Evo got a little sloppy there for a moment and mir has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evo has managed to get both his arms back between mir's legs - danger averted. mir looks gassed! Evo tries to free his leg and advance position but mir is retaining full guard. Evo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. mir throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Evo escapes and throws mir's legs to the side, diving into side control! Evo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. mir trying to remain calm as Evo controls from the top position. Evo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Evo controls the position. mir tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Evo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. mir tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Evo presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Evo controlling from mount. Evo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down mir for as long as he can get away with. Evo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Evo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! frank mir is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. mir pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. mir looking for a takedown. Matt Evo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of frank mir. Evo connects with a knee to the head.
Evo dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Evo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from mir.
mir has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Evo presses mir against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Evo manages to pull guard.
Evo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Evo has his hands on mir's head, controlling the position. mir wants to pass the guard but Evo is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. mir got a little sloppy there for a moment and Evo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, mir has managed to get both his arms back between Evo's legs - danger averted. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Evo is on top in guard.

Evo moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. mir is looking to regain half guard here but Evo keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Evo dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Evo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Evo pushes down on mir's leg and manages to get into half guard. Evo prevents mir from improving his position. Evo performing his best blanket impression for a moment. mir is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Evo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Evo's back! Evo holding both mir 's hands and preventing any damage. You can see the frustration on Evo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. mir is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Evo is defending well though. mir let's go of the attempt for now. mir looking for the RNC. mir doesn't have the hooks in and Evo manages to turn into his guard.
Evo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. mir looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. mir tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evo controlling from the top position. mir working for submissions but it's allowed Evo to get to half guard.
mir tries to roll over but Evo keeps him under control. mir is looking to get back to full guard here but Evo has managed to pass to side control instead. Evo controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. mir is looking to get to half guard. Evo controlling the position easily from mount. mir is working to get back to half guard.
Evo moves to take his opponent's back. mir is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Evo has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of mir's body.
mir rolls, trying to escape but Evo keeps control of the position.
Matt Evo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evo trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure mir doesn't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Evo dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
The crowd cheers as mir lands an impressive looking overhand right. Evo doesn't seem phased though. A telegraphed right hand from mir misses the target. Matt Evo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. mir throws a head kick that misses. Evo moves out of range of the strikes. mir misses with a wild combination.
mir gets caught flat footed, as Evo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Evo wants to control from the top but mir keeps moving. Evo got a little sloppy there for a moment and mir has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evo has managed to get both his arms back between mir's legs - danger averted. Evo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. mir swivels though and keeps the full guard. Evo passes mir's left leg - he's now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. mir is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Evo works his foot free and advances to mount. mir is looking to improve his position but Evo isn't that keen on the idea. mir is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evo looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. mir working to try and regain half guard.
mir is trying to reverse the position but instead Evo has taken his back - oops! What can mir do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! mir tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! frank mir has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Matt Evo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. mir throwing hammer fists to the chest of Evo. What's that going to do exactly?
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Evo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Evo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
