Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Artem Blinovs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kazimirs Kamazs!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamazs closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blinovs circles away.
Kamazs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Kamazs has control of Blinovs's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Blinovs regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kamazs looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Kamazs punching from mount but Blinovs doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Blinovs wants to control but Kamazs is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blinovs is trying desperately to improve position.
Blinovs is working hard here to advance position.
Blinovs tries to lock up and control but Kamazs gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Blinovs tries to buck Kamazs off but he can't manage it.
Kamazs cracks Blinovs with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kamazs lands a big shot there that rocks Blinovs but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Blinovs wants to control but Kamazs is having none of it.
Blinovs is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blinovs has left one of his arms exposed and Kamazs doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Blinovs screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
