Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hillbilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cup Coffee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hillbilly comes to the cage accompanied by I Love Country Music (And I'd Rather Fight Than Switch). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Hillbilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cup Coffee!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hillbilly scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Hillbilly misses the shot to the body.
No luck for Coffee with that takedown attempt.
Hillbilly throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Coffee's head.
No luck for Coffee with that takedown attempt.
Hillbilly connects with a looping right hand.
Hillbilly lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Hillbilly takes the fight into the clinch.
Coffee can't get the takedown.
Henry Hillbilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cup Coffee.
Coffee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hillbilly avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hillbilly manages to break the clinch.
Coffee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hillbilly sprawls well. Hillbilly wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coffee gets slowly back to his feet.
Hillbilly throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Coffee on the side of the head.

Hillbilly lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Coffee shoots in but no luck this time.
Coffee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hillbilly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coffee somewhat.

Hillbilly loads up on a big right hand but Coffee slips the punch.

Hillbilly clinches up with Coffee and pushes him back against the cage.

Hillbilly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hillbilly connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Coffee is landing with some decent strikes but Hillbilly is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Coffee is trying to control. Hillbilly wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Hillbilly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Coffee pulls his head out easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Coffee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hillbilly pinned against the cage. Hillbilly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Coffee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hillbilly defends it nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A slow jab from Hillbilly misses its intended target.

Hillbilly has his foot on Coffee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coffee works his way back into a safe position though.
Hillbilly is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hillbilly is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Coffee defends well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Coffee moves in looking to clinch but Hillbilly pushes him off.
Hillbilly defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Coffee.

Hillbilly looks to land a left hand but Coffee moved out of range nicely.

Coffee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hillbilly to the mat! Hillbilly manages to get full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hillbilly working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coffee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coffee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hillbilly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coffee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coffee passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Coffee wants to control but Hillbilly is keeping him busy.

Coffee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hillbilly is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hillbilly struggling a bit here.

Coffee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hillbilly keeps working.
Hillbilly is looking to regain half guard here but Coffee keeps moving and retains side control.

Hillbilly is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Hillbilly throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Coffee thows a huge punch but Hillbilly dodges it nicely.

Hillbilly keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Coffee frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The referee warns Hillbilly that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Coffee wants to control the pace but Hillbilly is squirming around nicely.

Coffee has control of Hillbilly's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hillbilly regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Coffee is trying to control. Hillbilly wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Coffee is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hillbilly doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coffee.

Cup Coffee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hillbilly scores with a nice strike.

Coffee pushes Hillbilly up against the cage in a clinch.

Hillbilly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hillbilly displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coffee.

Coffee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hillbilly manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hillbilly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coffee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Coffee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hillbilly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Coffee wants to control from the top but Hillbilly keeps moving.
Coffee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Coffee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hillbilly kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Hillbilly connects with a right hand. Coffee shakes it off.
