Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mustafa Zahnahatty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zahnahatty has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell misses with a kick to the body.

Mitchell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zahnahatty swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Zahnahatty decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zahnahatty looks for the body kick but Mitchell saw that one coming.

and Zahnahatty counters with an outside leg kick.
Mitchell fails with the takedown
and Zahnahatty counters with a good low kick that Mitchell was not able to check.

Mitchell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mitchell pulls Zahnahatty in close to his closed guard and prevents Zahnahatty from doing any damage or advancing position.

Zahnahatty drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mitchell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mitchell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mitchell!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zahnahatty accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zahnahatty wants to clinch up but Mitchell keeps it at a distance.
Zahnahatty tries to close the distance and clinch but Mitchell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Zahnahatty counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mitchell is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Mitchell misses with a takedown attempt - Zahnahatty sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Zahnahatty has Mitchell pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mitchell manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Zahnahatty has hold of one of Mitchell's legs. Mitchell is fighting the takedown attempt but Zahnahatty gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Zahnahatty got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mitchell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zahnahatty has managed to get both his arms back between Mitchell's legs - danger averted.

Well Zahnahatty has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
