Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sara Phillips! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Errol Jeoss! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phillips misses with a two punch combination.
Phillips lands a left and a right that send Jeoss crashing to the mat, dazed. Phillips thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Phillips rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jeoss moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Phillips fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Phillips throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Phillips fails to land with a series of punches.
Phillips moves in looking to clinch but Jeoss pushes him off. Phillips clinches. Phillips breaks the clinch.
Phillips closes the distance and clinches. Phillips manages to break the clinch.
Phillips fails in his attempt to clinch. Phillips tries to clinch up but Jeoss circles away and keeps his distance. Jeoss looks for a takedown but Phillips sprawls well. Phillips throws a nice looking combination but Jeoss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Phillips misses with a series of wild punches.
Phillips gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Phillips is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Phillips keeping moving, preventing Jeoss from controlling successfully. Jeoss advances to half guard. Phillips knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jeoss on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jeoss works his foot free and advances to mount. Phillips has left one of his arms exposed and Jeoss doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Phillips screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
