Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bonham Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordes St Per (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bonham Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jordes St Per! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Per wants to clinch up but Carter keeps it at a distance. Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. St Per defends it nicely. Bonham Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. St Per stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and St Per wants it to stay on the feet. Carter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but St Per paws at him with a jab and circles away. St Per leaves Carter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bonham Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as St Per sprawls well. St Per wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Carter gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but St Per swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. St Per shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Per throwing strikes but missing. St Per with a nice head shot there. Carter tries to land a sweep but no joy. St Per throws a big right hand that misses. Carter is trying to keep St Per in close.
St Per tries to stand but Carter is controlling from the bottom. St Per throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Carter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Carter has momentary wrist control but St Per slips an elbow through the middle. St Per throws a strike but Carter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. St Per is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St Per wants to sweep here but Carter controlling him for the moment. Carter is looking to stand up but St Per won't let him. St Per tries to land a sweep but no joy. St Per looking to control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. St Per tries to clinch and Carter counters with a nice double leg into side control. St Per won't be happy with that. St Per can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Per is trying to buck Carter off. Carter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by St Per, who protects the arm well. Carter misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Per trying his best to control but Carter has mounted him. St Per is trying to stand up. Carter looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. St Per is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Carter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Carter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. St Per looks a forlorn figure.
Carter is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! St Per tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Carter counters with a three punch combo that has St Per backing up. St Per nods at Carter to acknowledge the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bonham Carter will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
St Per closes the distance and clinches. Carter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Carter tries to pull guard but St Per holds him up against the cage and eventually Carter drops back down to his feet.
St Per fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Carter is trying to drag St Per to the mat but St Per just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. St Per prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bonham Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St Per's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. St Per tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carter swats him away and circles back towards the center. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter fails with the takedown and St Per counters by clinching up. St Per escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carter with a poor takedown so St Per counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Carter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
St Per thows a big elbow that misses. St Per in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. St Per working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. St Per lands a couple of digs. St Per working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Carter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. St Per shoots in for a double leg but Carter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Carter misses with a takedown attempt and St Per decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carter's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Carter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. St Per throwing strikes but missing. Carter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in St Per's guard. St Per is looking to stand up but Carter isn't so interested in that idea. Carter won't allow St Per to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter looking to pass the guard. St Per wants to stand but Carter is controlling the position. Carter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Carter fails in his attempt to clinch. St Per clinches up against the cage. Carter tries to pull guard but St Per won't allow it.
St Per breaks from the clinch.
Carter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. St Per doesn't seem bothered though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. St Per gets a clinch. Carter goes for a takedown attempt but St Per pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
St Per shoots for a takedown but Carter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Carter has his takedown stuffed and St Per counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but St Per scores with a couple of nice shots. St Per not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordes St Per showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Carter throws a front kick that sends St Per stumbling back into the cage. Carter circles away from the clinch attempt and Carter counters with a nice double leg into side control. St Per won't be happy with that. St Per holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. You can see the frustration on St Per's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Carter trying to control the position but St Per is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carter avoids the strikes from the bottom by St Per. St Per regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter slows the pace down in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Carter passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for St Per! St Per is working to get back to half guard.
Carter content just to control the position here. Carter avoids the attempt from St Per to control. Jordes St Per has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carter controlling his opponent. Carter with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
St Per is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. St Per is squirming around, avoiding Carter's attempts to control the action. Carter punching from mount but St Per doing a good job of avoiding damage. Carter goes for an armbar but he's not got it… St Per turns into him and now he's in Carter's guard.
Carter trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. St Per scoring with punches to the head and body. Carter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. St Per gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. St Per throwing strikes from guard but Carter blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. St Per with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Carter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
St Per working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carter's head. St Per throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. St Per throws a strike but Carter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. St Per utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Bonham Carter showed his dominance in that final round. I think Carter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
