Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phim Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Efrain Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phim Moran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Efrain Escudero! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escudero drives through with a takedown into guard. Escudero controls from within his opponent's guard. Moran is looking for a triangle but Escudero pushes his legs off easily.
Escudero controlling from the top position. Moran trying to keep a closed guard but Escudero is proving a slippery customer.
Escudero content to stall in guard here. Moran is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Escudero is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Let's hope that Escudero has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Efrain Escudero just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Moran shoots and misses and Escudero counters with a nice double leg into guard. Escudero slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Despite being in the dominant position, Efrain Escudero just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Moran tries for a takedown but Escudero circles away easily and Escudero decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moran's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Escudero seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Escudero's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. I looks like Escudero might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moran tries to clinch up so Escudero counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Moran is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Moran controls Escudero momentarily but Escudero frees himself. Escudero sitting in guard here, content to control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Moran throws a leg kick and Escudero counters with a nice double leg into side control. Moran won't be happy with that. Escudero slows the pace down. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Efrain Escudero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Escudero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Moran's face as Escudero controls the position. Escudero working away. Escudero controlling from side mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Moran is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Moran clinches but Escudero breaks the clinch and Escudero counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Moran's guard now. Escudero looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moran throws a sloppy head kick and Escudero moves out of range easily. Escudero shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Moran counters with a flying knee. Nice. Phim Moran has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Efrain Escudero is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Phim Moran is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Escudero moves out of range of the body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Efrain Escudero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Escudero winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
