PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lashley Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krav Mcgraw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randall comes to the cage accompanied by pushing me. Mcgraw has chosen Limp Bizkit--Break Stuff as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall tries to clinch but Mcgraw is having none of it.
Some wild striking there from Mcgraw.
Randall fails with a takedown attempt.

Randall shoots in and bounces Mcgraw off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Randall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Mcgraw has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Randall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Randall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcgraw manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Mcgraw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Randall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Randall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mcgraw escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Randall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mcgraw has his foot on Randall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Randall works his way back into a safe position though.

Randall is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mcgraw is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Randall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Krav Mcgraw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Randall steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mcgraw. That one must have hurt.

A close round but Krav Mcgraw will probably get the nod.
That's time! Randall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Randall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcgraw tries to avoid it but Randall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcgraw to the ground. Mcgraw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
