Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Alan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Sparrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Alan!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Alan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sparrow fails with a takedown attempt.

Sparrow has hold of Alan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Alan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sparrow drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Alan throws a right hand that Sparrow ducks under and follows up with a left that Sparrow also avoids with ease.

and Alan counters with a three punch combo that has Sparrow backing up. Sparrow nods at Alan to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Alan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Alan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sparrow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Sparrow dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Alan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sparrow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sparrow has managed to get both his arms back between Alan's legs - danger averted.

Sparrow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's time! Sparrow's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sparrow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sparrow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Alan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sparrow defends it well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Sparrow.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sparrow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
