Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Fortune Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutherland clinches up with Fortune Jr and pushes him back against the cage.
Fortune Jr has Sutherland pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sutherland manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Fortune Jr decides to pull guard.
Sutherland looking to sit in guard and control but Fortune Jr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sutherland looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fortune Jr is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Sutherland counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Sutherland is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Fortune Jr has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sutherland uses from the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sutherland lands a nice short elbow.
Sutherland looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fortune Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sutherland has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fortune Jr to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sutherland is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fortune Jr pulls down on the head and he's put Sutherland to sleep! This one is all over!
