Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JJ St James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Legion of Doom Theme. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts moves away from the strike by St James.
A cross from St James lands.
It looks like Jake Roberts has been cut.
St James fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Roberts clinches up with St James and pushes him back against the cage.
St James tries to circle away but Roberts has him pinned against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on St James's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A knee to the head by Roberts.
Roberts keeps control of St James as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
St James looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Roberts lands an elbow inside.
St James takes a knee to the side of the body.
Roberts gets control of St James's arms and successfully pulls guard. Roberts will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
St James sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roberts's guard.
St James knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roberts on the ground.
Roberts manages to get to full guard.
Roberts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. St James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
St James has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roberts is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst St James is controlling him.

St James wanted to stand there but Roberts had control of the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Roberts is on top in guard.
Roberts wants to control from the top but St James keeps moving.
St James might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Roberts in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Roberts decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
St James throws a jab when Roberts was well out of range.

Roberts moves into the clinch.
Roberts creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through St James's defenses.
St James is looking to break free of the clinch but Roberts has double underhooks.
Roberts is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. St James is defending well for now.
Roberts drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roberts looking for a sweep. Not yet Roberts, not yet.
Roberts is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. St James is aware though and is defending well.
Roberts is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
St James is looking to stand up but Roberts won't let him.

Roberts lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for St James!

Roberts sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Roberts lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
