Midnight Beast struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glett tries to bum rush Beast with a series of wild strikes but Beast uses good footwork to avoid the assault. No joy there for Glett, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Glett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beast moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Glett throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Glett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beast ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Beast shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Beast looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beast is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Glett is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
