Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makao Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaito Takamine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Makao Matsumoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaito Takamine! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsumoto throws a push kick but Takamine slaps the foot to one side. Matsumoto moves out of range of the body kick from Takamine.
Takamine has a takedown stuffed. Takamine works Matsumoto's body with a nice hook. Matsumoto gets the takedown into side control. Takamine is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Takamine tries to bench press Matsumoto off him but Matsumoto keeps the position. Matsumoto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Matsumoto is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Takamine's shoulder. That is not cool. Matsumoto is trying to get an arm triangle but Takamine is defending well. Takamine can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsumoto is trying to get an arm triangle but Takamine is defending well. Takamine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matsumoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Takamine is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Matsumoto off and has taken his back! Takamine throwing strikes and Matsumoto squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted. Poor strikes thrown by Takamine there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Matsumoto looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight. Matsumoto tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Takamine sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Matsumoto slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Matsumoto gets full guard. Takamine got a little sloppy there for a moment and Matsumoto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Takamine has managed to get both his arms back between Matsumoto's legs - danger averted. Matsumoto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Takamine is aware though and is defending well. Matsumoto being controlled here, momentarily. Takamineis looking to pass into half guard but Matsumoto pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Matsumoto is in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsumoto wants to pass the guard but Takamine is keeping the position. Matsumoto sitting in guard, not really doing much. Takamine is trying to control the position but Matsumoto postures up. Matsumoto won't allow Takamine to sweep him here. Matsumoto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Matsumoto sitting in guard, not really doing much. Matsumoto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Matsumoto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Matsumoto pushes down on Takamine's leg and manages to get into half guard. Takamine should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Takamine looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Matsumoto wants to pass the guard but Takamine is defending well. Takamine tries to get to full guard but Matsumoto has control of the leg. Matsumoto trying to mount his opponent but Takamine defends it. Matsumoto is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Makao Matsumoto dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Takamine shoots and misses and Matsumoto counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Matsumoto is keen to just control but Takamine is a slippery customer. Matsumoto seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Takamine is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
