The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qp instigates a clinch.
AbdulJabbar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
AbdulJabbar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Qp smiles and moves away.
Qp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Qp throws a right and a left that AbdulJabbar avoids nicely.
AbdulJabbar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Qp counters by clinching up.
AbdulJabbar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ken Qp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kareem AbdulJabbar.
Qp ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Qp no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The referee is keeping an eye on Qp - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
