Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yosi Sayas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klem Hopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopper has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yosi Sayas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Klem Hopper!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopper avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sayas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sayas decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hopper to his feet.
Hopper misses with a few strikes there.
Hopper stuns Sayas with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sayas shoots for a double leg takedown but Hopper sprawls well. He's pushed Sayas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sayas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hopper as he jumps to the side.
Sayas is breathing heavily.
Sayas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hopper connects with a looping right hand.
Sayas shoots in for a takedown but Hopper shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yosi Sayas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hopper digs a good body shot into Sayas's ribs.
Hopper falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sayas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hopper's guard now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Hopper keeping moving, preventing Sayas from controlling successfully.
Hopper wants to sweep here but Sayas controlling him for the moment.
Hopper is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Sayas is stalling in the full guard.
Sayas stands and steps away. Hopper gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Sayas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hopper at a distance.
Hopper stuffs the takedown.
Sayas rushes Hopper and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sayas goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hopper prevents it.
Sayas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hopper smiles and moves away.
Sayas wants to clinch up but Hopper keeps it at a distance.
Sayas scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sayas tries to clinch up but Hopper circles away and keeps his distance.
Sayas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sayas wants to free his trapped foot but Hopper is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sayas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Hopper is trying to get back to full guard.
Sayas stands up out of the half guard.
A decent looking cross lands there for Hopper.
Sayas is rocked!
It looks like Yosi Sayas has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hopper is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Sayas hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Klem Hopper!
