Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Han drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Han is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Penn's shoulder. That is not cool. Penn is looking for a sweep. Han works to advance to full mount. Penn defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Han looking to control but Penn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. A nice elbow there by Han. Penn wants to control but Han is having none of it. Han controlling the pace for now. Han trying to control but he's not successful this time. Penn is working to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Han content just to control the position here. Penn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Han tries to control but Penn wriggling away. Han working for a submission but Penn is keeping him at bay. Han looking to control but Penn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Han controlling from mount. Han looking to control but Penn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Volk Han just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Penn tries to clinch there but Han circles away.
Han fails with a takedown attempt. Han shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Penn pinned against the cage. Penn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Han is breathing heavily. Penn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Han counters with a shoot takedown. Penn fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Penn wants to sweep here but Han controlling him for the moment. Han trying to control but Penn is working from the bottom. Penn is trying to keep Han in close.
Han has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Penn is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Penn is looking for a triangle but Han pushes his legs off easily.
Han wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Left hook, right uppercut from Penn. Volk Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Penn tries to clinch there but Han circles away.
Han fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Volk Han. That's going to take a lot out of him. Penn doesn't manage to clinch there - Han circles away.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Han as he jumps to the side. Penn fails with the takedown. Penn closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Volk Han dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Han gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Penn counters with a lovely shot to the body. Han fails with the takedown and Penn counters with a straight right hand. Penn throws a head kick that misses. Han checks a low kick from Penn. Some bone on bone action there as Han checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Penn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Han counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Penn! Penn gets back to half guard. Penn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Penn wants to improve his position but Han is controlling well.
Han stalling away here and it's allowed Penn to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Han can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Han drops back looking for a leg! Penn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Penn manages to kick Han off! Han jumps back into Penn's guard. Han stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Penn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Han is looking to work some ground and pound but Penn has wrist control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Han fails with the takedown and Penn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Volk Han. That's going to take a lot out of him. Han stuffs the takedown attempt from Penn. Penn gets slowly back to his feet. Penn throws a combination. Han tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Penn closes the distance and clinches up with Han, looking for a takedown. Penn pushes Han against the cage but Han circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Penn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Han not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn throws and elbow that misses. Han uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Penn's guard. Nice move by Han! Han looking to sit in guard and control but Penn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Volk Han overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Penn is stalling in the full guard. Han trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Penn works a leg free and moves into half guard. Penn is working for a kimura but Han is defending it quite comfortably.
Penn stops Han from getting back to his feet.

A close second round but Jr Penn will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Penn clinches. Han blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Han has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Penn clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Penn defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Han's arms. Penn rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Penn tries to clinch there but Han circles away.
Han scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Penn manages to work his way to half guard, despite Han's best efforts. Han throwing shots but Penn is blocking nicely. Penn keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Han throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Han is working away from the top position though. Han trying to advance position but Penn counters by regaining guard. Han wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving. Penn tries to land a sweep but no joy. Penn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Penn wants to clinch up but Han keeps it at a distance. Penn fails with the takedown and Han counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Han throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Penn tries to get to full guard but Han has control of the leg. Penn is trying to control but can't.
Han controlling the pace. Penn is trying to get back to full guard. Penn wants to control but Han is keeping busy and won't allow it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Han shoots in and bounces Penn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Penn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Han slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Han is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that's the end of the fight! Volk Han showed his dominance in that final round. I think Han has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
