Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between pete peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jeb jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
peterson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
jobber tries to clinch up but peterson circles away and keeps his distance.

jobber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in peterson's guard.
peterson looking to hit a scissor sweep but jobber is one step ahead there.
jobber is stalling in the full guard.
jobber trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

jobber slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

No luck for peterson with that takedown attempt.
jobber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

jobber rushes peterson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for jobber. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

jobber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but peterson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, jeb jobber just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well jobber has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
