Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Cling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cling comes into the arena with Indistructable blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Mitch Cling has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitch Cling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Jackson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cling changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Cling manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cling finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cling scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jackson manages to get back to half guard. Jackson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Cling pulls his head out easily. Cling is controlling the pace.
Jackson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cling's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cling's back! Cling is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jackson gets his way!
Cling tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Cling is trying desperately to improve position. Jackson forces the positional change into back control. Jackson looking for the RNC.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cling knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cling for a finish. Cling preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Jackson. Jackson looks gassed! Cling rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Cling wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson works his way into full mount! Cling tries to hold on but Jackson pushes him away. Jackson is working for a guillotine from mount but Cling frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cling manages to regain half guard. Good work. Cling trying to control but Jackson postures up.
Cling is holding on to half guard well. Jackson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cling tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jackson!
