With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Apollo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apollo tries to bum rush Huntington with a series of wild strikes but Huntington uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Apollo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Huntington closes the distance and pushes Apollo back into the cage.

Apollo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Huntington!
Huntington is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Huntington knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Apollo on the ground.

Apollo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Apollo is looking to work his way around to Huntington's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Apollo is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Huntington is in real trouble.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Apollo is not going to allow Huntington to sit and survive in this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Apollo just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Apollo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Huntington keeping hold of Apollo's head, controlling as best he can.
Apollo wants to take a breather but Huntington is having none of it.
Huntington on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Huntington tries to get out of the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Huntington.
Apollo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I think Apollo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
