Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amir Zuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Amir Zuka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuka throws a sloppy head kick and Rua moves out of range easily.
Zuka slips under a jab from Rua.
A swing and a miss from Rua.
Zuka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Zuka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rua changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zuka tries to avoid it but Rua manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zuka to the ground. Zuka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rua is still on wobbly legs! Can Zuka finish him?
Zuka tries a head kick but it misses.
Rua seems to have recovered his senses.
Rua moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rua lands with an overhand left.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rua feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rua makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Zuka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rua defends well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rua is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Rua shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rua showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zuka tries to roll over but Rua keeps him under control.

The fighters circle, before Zuka throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Rua's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Zuka lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
