Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justice Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Ranson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justice Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Ranson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Evans showed some decent athleticism there. Evans is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ranson is just riding it out for now. Evans eventually gives up the hold. Evans wants to pass to mount but Ranson is defending the position. Evans passes the guard and advances to mount! Ranson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Evans. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ranson is controlling an arm, preventing Evans from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ranson is desperately trying to improve his position but Evans has a good base and remains in mount. Ranson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Evans is looking to advance position but Ranson won't allow it. Ranson is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans is pressing down on Ranson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ranson is holding on for now. Evans trying to control from half guard but Ranson is working away. Ranson trying to control but Evans postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Evans swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ranson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ranson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Evans. That snapped Ranson's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ranson throws a combination that misses and Evans counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ranson's guard now. Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ranson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Evans pushing down on Ranson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Ranson tries to get to full guard but Evans has control of the leg. Ranson tries to kick Evans off but Evans keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ranson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ranson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ranson looks gassed! Evans is looking to take a break and control but Ranson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. That's four minutes gone in the round. Ranson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Evans works his way into side control. Evans looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Evans is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ranson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Evans is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ranson has escaped the position, nice work there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ranson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Evans asserts his dominance and retains side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justice Evans dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ranson takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ranson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Evans counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ranson won't be happy with that. Evans is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ranson is bucking up trying to escape but Evans cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Evans scoring with strikes but Ranson is staying in there.

It looks like David Ranson has been cut. Ranson is trying to escape the mount but Evans keeps good control and instead manages to take Ranson's back.
Evans is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ranson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Evans has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ranson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Evans doesn't care though - he's delighted!
