Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Rourke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rourke comes to the cage accompanied by Rolling Stones - Paint it black. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mikko Rourke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rocky Cobra!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rourke throws a head kick that misses.
Rourke rushes Cobra and presses him up against the cage.
Cobra swings wildly with an uppercut but Rourke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rourke stalling the fight.
Rourke tries to pull guard but Cobra won't allow it.
Rourke tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rourke trying to land knees to the body.
Rourke goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cobra trying to control the position but instead, Rourke has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cobra into the cage.
Cobra throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Cobra wants to stall.
Rourke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rourke darts in and clinches Cobra up against the cage.
Cobra is trying to force a seperation but Rourke has the dominant position.
Cobra is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rourke is keeping busy.
Rourke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cobra takes one on the button.
Cobra tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Rourke counters by clinching up.
Rourke throws an elbow but it misses.
Cobra throws a head punch that misses.
Cobra throws a punch but it's blocked by Rourke.
Rourke lands a nice uppercut.
Rourke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rourke forces Cobra back against the cage and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rourke manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Rourke lands a good knee to the midsection. Cobra won't want to take too many of those.
Rourke lands an elbow inside that Cobra shrugs off.
It looks like Rocky Cobra has been cut.
Rourke is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Cobra looks gassed!
Rourke breaks from the clinch.
A jab from Rourke does it's job there.
Rourke darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rourke tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cobra knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Rourke throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rourke is looking to take a break and control but Cobra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rourke passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cobra!
Rourke is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cobra to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cobra shrugs it off.
Rourke controlling the pace for now.
Cobra takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rourke with shots to the head and body - Cobra looks very uncomfortable down there.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Poor strikes thrown by Rourke there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Cobra is squirming around, avoiding Rourke's attempts to control the action.
Rourke is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cobra can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rourke connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rourke looking to control but Cobra is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Cobra is in a horrible position here. Rourke smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rourke tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cobra in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
A nice elbow there by Rourke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The cut man is working on Rocky Cobra's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rourke putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Cobra in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Cobra on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rocky Cobra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cobra clinches but Rourke breaks the clinch
and Rourke counters by clinching up.

Rourke decides to pull guard.
Rourke is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Cobra frees his head nicely. Oh but Rourke has switched to an armbar! Cobra is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
