Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prolly Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Cordin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Smash Mouth - All Star . Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jason Cordin enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Cordin!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordin looks to score with a jab to the body but Rain is just out of range.
Cordin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cordin wants it to stay on the feet.

Cordin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cordin is looking to break free of the clinch but Rain has double underhooks.

Cordin parries the strikes from Rain easily there. Rain is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cordin to escape.

Cordin is looking to regain half guard here but Rain keeps moving and retains side control.
Cordin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Rain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cordin keeps working.

Rain creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cordin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Rain sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cordin is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cordin wants to clinch up but Rain keeps it at a distance.
Cordin loads up on a big right hand but Rain slips the punch.

Rain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cordin but Cordin pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rain is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cordin's half guard.

Rain winds up and cracks Cordin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Rain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cordin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rain throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cordin's head.
Cordin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Cordin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cordin misses with the combination.
Jason Cordin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cordin throws a body punch but Rain moves out of range.

Rain is looking to work some ground and pound but Cordin has wrist control.
Cordin wants to get back to his feet but Rain is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rain accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rain keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cordin's head.
Rain is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cordin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rain looking to sit in guard and control but Cordin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Cordin content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Rain has locked up a guillotine! Rain's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Cordin is holding on here and Rain must be using up a lot of energy. Cordin has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Rain gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
