Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dino Falco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odinson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Odinson showed some decent athleticism there.
Odinson content to control rather than advance.
Falco trying to control from the bottom.
Falco wants to get back to full guard but Odinson has passed into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Falco is in all sorts of trouble here.
Falco could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Falco wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Odinson is trying to stick to Falco's back but Falco is turning into Odinson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Odinson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Falco.

and Odinson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Falco won't be happy with that.

Odinson shoots for a takedown but Falco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

You can see the frustration on Falco's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dino Falco.
Well Odinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
