Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dino Falco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dino Falco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thor Odinson! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odinson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Odinson showed some decent athleticism there. Odinson content to control rather than advance. Falco trying to control from the bottom.
Falco wants to get back to full guard but Odinson has passed into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Falco is in all sorts of trouble here.
Falco could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Odinson landing strikes from the mount and Falco is in trouble! Falco wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Odinson is trying to stick to Falco's back but Falco is turning into Odinson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Odinson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Falco. Odinson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Odinson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Falco sitting in guard here, content to control. Odinson wants to improve his position but instead Falco has moved into half guard.
Falco with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Odinson can do anything to dispel that myth. Odinson trying to control but Falco postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Odinson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Falco's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Falco's back! Falco tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Falco sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Odinson prevents Falco from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Odinson stalling. Odinson wants to advance to full mount but Falco doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Falco is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Odinson defends well. Falco is breathing heavily. Odinson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Odinson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Falco is working an open guard so Odinson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Odinson tries to land a front kick but Falco steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Falco shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Odinson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Falco won't be happy with that. Falco is not content to let Odinson control the position. Odinson tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Falco looking for a sweep but Odinson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Falco tries to reverse the position but Odinson maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Odinson scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Odinson controlling his opponent. Odinson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Falco is looking to escape. Falco is trying desperately to improve position. Odinson with shots to the head and body - Falco looks very uncomfortable down there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thor Odinson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Odinson tries to clinch but Falco moves out of range. Odinson shoots for a takedown but Falco saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Falco with a poor takedown and Odinson counters with a head kick. That will keep Falco thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Odinson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Falco! Falco tries to get back to half guard but can't. Odinson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Odinson putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Falco manages to regain half guard. Good work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Falco wants to get back to full guard. Odinson not doing much here.
Odinson is trying to control the action in half guard but Falco is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falco is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. It looks like Odinson is going to stand back up.
Falco is looking to control Odinson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Falco avoid being mounted? Thor Odinson has got the better of the ground game so far. Falco is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Falco doesn't succeed with the takedown and Odinson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Odinson. Odinson tries to free his leg and advance position but Falco is retaining full guard. Odinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Falco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Odinson has managed to get both his arms back between Falco's legs - danger averted. Odinson gets to his feet - Falco follows without any prompting. Odinson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Falco tries to roll over but Odinson keeps him under control. Odinson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Falco is just riding it out for now. Odinson eventually gives up the hold. Odinson is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Falco. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Odinson trying to pass the guard but Falco defending well. Falco is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Odinson tries to stand and escape but Falco is controlling the position. Odinson throwing shots but Falco is blocking nicely.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Odinson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Falco did well to prevent Odinson getting side control. Odinson wants to free his trapped foot but Falco is holding on for dear life with his legs. Odinson content to control rather than advance. Odinson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Falco has managed to free his arm - good work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Odinson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thor Odinson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Odinson shoots and misses and Falco counters with a nice double leg into guard. Odinson keeping full guard, as Falco tries to pass. Odinson seems keen to control Falco's posture. Odinson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falco is looking to work some ground and pound but Odinson has wrist control. Falco is working Odinson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Odinson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Odinson striking off his back but it's not causing Falco any problems. Falco controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Odinson wants to get back to his feet but Falco is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Odinson keeping moving, preventing Falco from controlling successfully. Odinson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Odinson looks to land a body kick but Falco moved away. Odinson rushes Falco and presses him up against the cage. Odinson breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Falco, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Odinson misses with a takedown attempt and Falco counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Odinson's guard now. Falco drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Odinson dives on top into guard. Odinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Falco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Odinson has managed to get both his arms back between Falco's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odinson passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Falco wants to get back to full guard but Odinson has passed into side control. Odinson looking to control and managing it successfully. Falco is in a horrible position here. Odinson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Odinson trying to control but Falco is having none of it. Dino Falco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Odinson unloading with bombs! Falco is just holding on here. Odinson manages to take his back.
You can see the frustration on Falco's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dino Falco. Well Odinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
