Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Declan Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes into the arena with Macho Man Theme blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Savage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Declan Walker! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage misses with a double jab.
Savage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one. A punch combination from Savage misses. Savage shoots in but Walker avoids the takedown attempt easily. Walker swats away the attempt to clinch by Savage. Savage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A combination from Savage does no damage. Savage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walker. Savage is breathing heavily. Savage closes the distance and clinches. Walker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Walker is trying to drag Savage to the mat but Savage just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Savage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Savage stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Savage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Walker wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Walker misses with an elbow from the bottom. Savage throws a strike aimed at the side of Walker's head but Walker avoids it well. Savage tries to score with some ground and pound. Walker controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Walker tries to bench press Savage off him but Savage keeps the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Walker throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Savage is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Walker lands with a hook. Savage tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Savage avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A left and a right from Walker both land. Nice combination. Savage closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Walker is trying to get back to half guard. Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Walker is working to avoid the ground and pound but Savage connects with a decent elbow. Walker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Savage wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savage trying to control the action but Walker is working from the bottom. Savage throwing shots but missing, from side control. Walker taking a bit of punishment here - Savage scoring with strikes. Walker is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Savage just content to control the position. Savage is putting a hurting on Walker here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savage working the body and head with strikes. Walker looking for a sweep but Savage has passed into full mount! Oh no! Savage has control of Walker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Walker regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Walker is in all sorts of trouble here.

Savage tries to clinch up but Walker circles away and keeps his distance. Savage shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily. Walker slips under a jab from Savage. Randy Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Savage throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Savage takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Savage throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.

and Walker counters with a two punch combo. Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Savage circles away quickly and effectively. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Savage. Savage dodges the punch combination from Walker.
Horrible takedown by Savage or perhaps it was just good defense by Walker which made him look bad. Savage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker has closed the distance and engaged Savage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Walker's face as he tries to break the clinch. Walker stalling the fight.

Savage wants to clinch but Walker slips to the side and Walker counters with a straight right hand. Walker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Savage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walker avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Savage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Savage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Walker shoots in for a double leg but Savage sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Savage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Walker regains half guard. Walker pushes Savage off but Savage dives into side control.
Savage in side control lands a decent elbow. Savage stands up and we're back to a striking position. Savage misses with a hook. Savage misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Savage stands up from guard. Let's bang! Walker lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Savage jabbing away but nothing is landing. Savage stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Savage throws a series of punches but Walker avoids them all with ease. Savage gets the takedown into side control. Savage lands a nice forearm strike. Walker wants to control but Savage postures up. Savage cracks Walker with an elbow. That is naaassty. Walker takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Savage has hold of Walker's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Walker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Savage cranks the arm and Walker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Walker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
