Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Viper Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarpulano Burdagul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Tarpulano Burdagul enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Viper Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tarpulano Burdagul! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burdagul avoids a punch combination nicely.
Burdagul throws a right and a left that both miss. Killer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Killer wants it to stay on the feet. Burdagul misses with a wild body shot. Killer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Killer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Burdagul uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Killer. Burdagul displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Killer throws out the jab. No luck for Burdagul with that takedown attempt. Killer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Burdagul trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Burdagul drops back looking for a leg! Killer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killer manages to kick Burdagul off! Burdagul jumps back into Killer's guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Killer wants to get back to his feet but Burdagul is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Burdagul working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Killer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burdagul moves away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Burdagul is defended easily by Killer. Viper Killer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tarpulano Burdagul. Burdagul tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Burdagul tries to score a power double leg takedown but Killer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burdagul somewhat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burdagul takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Burdagul looks gassed! Killer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Burdagul slips a jab and a cross from Killer.

Burdagul fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Killer sprawls well initially but Burdagul persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Burdagul is pressing down on Killer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Killer is holding on for now. Burdagul is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Burdagul. Burdagul is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Killer is just riding it out for now. Burdagul eventually gives up the hold. Killer is trying to stand up here but Burdagul is controlling him well. Burdagul is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Killer sees it coming and defends easily. Killer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burdagul on the ground. Burdagul wants to free his trapped foot but Killer is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Viper Killer will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Killer keeping moving, preventing Burdagul from controlling successfully. Burdagul stands up and waves to Killer to follow him. Killer throws a series of punches but Burdagul moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Killer scores with a three punch combo!

Burdagul yanks on the arm and Killer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Burdagul.
