Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Javier Xavier!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, BB Esko!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Xavier is out of range.
Esko slips a jab and a cross from Xavier.
Esko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Esko lands with a slapping head kick.
Esko has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Xavier finds it's way round the side to connect with Esko's head.
The fighters circling - Xavier throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Esko misses with a kick to the body.
Xavier lands a lovely overhand right.
Xavier misses with a straight right.
Xavier lunges at Esko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Esko's hand.
Xavier lands a head shot.
Xavier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Esko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Xavier throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Esko on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Esko is rocked!
Xavier closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Esko! Xavier dives in looking to finish! Esko is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Javier Xavier!
