The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Vieira misses.
Vieira connects with a body shot.
Regal shoots for a takedown but Vieira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Regal cracks Vieira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Regal paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Vieira looks to throw the jab but Regal is out of range.
Vieira looks to land a combination but Regal avoids it well.

Vieira drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Vieira wants to lay and pray for a moment but Regal keeps working.
The referee asks Vieira politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vieira prefers to stall for the moment though.

Regal tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
