Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Rodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Pizzaelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodman has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pizzaelli keeps the fight on the outside.
Pizzaelli throws out a loose jab but Rodman uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rodman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pizzaelli avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rodman stalks Pizzaelli and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pizzaelli's face. Pizzaelli staggers backwards, shaken.
Rodman is breathing heavily.
Rodman misses with a jab, cross combination.
A combination from Rodman does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodman looks to land a combination but Pizzaelli avoids it well.
Pizzaelli shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rodman is in a horrible position here. Pizzaelli smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rodman wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pizzaelli breaks from Rodman's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Pizzaelli takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Rodman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pizzaelli on the ground.
Pizzaelli lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Rodman hang on?

Rodman could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rodman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Rodman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pizzaelli unloading with bombs!
Pizzaelli working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Rodman looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Pizzaelli! Submission of the night perhaps?
