Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Rothstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gunner Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Rothstein! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott works Rothstein's body with a nice hook. Rothstein avoids a punch combination nicely.
Scott throws a hook to the side of Rothstein's head but Rothstein sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The fighters circle momentarily. Rothstein darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Scott misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rothstein.
Rothstein takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Al Rothstein has been cut. Rothstein showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Scott.
Scott throws a hook to the side of Rothstein's head but Rothstein sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Scott throws a series of punches but Rothstein avoids them all with ease. Rothstein throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Scott loads up on a big right hand but Rothstein slips the punch. Rothstein moves out of range of the strikes. A big left from Scott misses. Rothstein moves in looking to clinch but Scott pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rothstein. Scott uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rothstein.
Scott seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Rothstein shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Scott is backing up but Rothstein catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Scott covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Rothstein Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Rothstein!
