The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakur dips to his left and cracks Kitagami with an uppercut!

It looks like Jubei Kitagami has been cut.
Shakur sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A decent looking cross lands there for Shakur.
Kitagami tries to land a leg kick but Shakur saw it coming and moves away.
Shakur fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shakur lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kitagami circles away quickly and effectively.
Kitagami throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shakur counters with a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shakur throws the left hand but Kitagami avoids the punch easily.
Shakur swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kitagami throws an overhand right that lands on Shakur's shoulder, as Shakur tries to avoid the shot.
Emeka Shakur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kitagami ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shakur moves away.
Shakur throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kitagami stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

It looks like Emeka Shakur has been cut.

Kitagami displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shakur throws out the jab.

and Kitagami cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kitagami lands a left and a right that send Shakur crashing to the mat, dazed. Kitagami thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kitagami flashes Shakur a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Shakur's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Shakur crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Kitagami punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
