And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcus Miller!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto fails with the takedown.
Miller lands a jab to the nose.

Miller lands a head kick that stumbles Yamamoto and the fighters go to the mat.


Yamamoto is rocked!


It looks like Norifumi Yamamoto has been cut.
Yamamoto wants to hit a switch here but Miller passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Yamamoto there!

Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Yamamoto tries to hold on but Miller pushes him away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Marcus Miller dominated that round.

Yamamoto shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Miller tests Yamamoto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yamamoto tries for a takedown but Miller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Yamamoto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miller circles away.

Miller goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Miller cracks Yamamoto with a hook to the temple - Yamamoto is on wobbly legs here! Miller swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Yamamoto falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Miller wins by TKO!
