Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Floorman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John CarBobble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Floorman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, John CarBobble!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CarBobble tries to close the distance and clinch but Floorman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Floorman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
CarBobble is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Floorman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

CarBobble avoids a series of strikes thrown by Floorman.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Floorman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Floorman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Floorman cracks CarBobble with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
BOOM! Floorman connects with a massive shot to the dome!

CarBobble is bucking up trying to escape but Floorman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Floorman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Floorman is landing with some decent strikes but CarBobble is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
CarBobble is squirming around, avoiding Floorman's attempts to control the action.

Floorman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now CarBobble is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Floorman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Floorman shoots in for a takedown but CarBobble shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Floorman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in CarBobble's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Floorman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Floorman is trying hard to land a takedown here. CarBobble sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

CarBobble is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


CarBobble looks to clinch

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Floorman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
