Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from IRONMAN misses.
RUSH IRONMAN seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
IRONMAN wants to clinch.
Horrible takedown by IRONMAN or perhaps it was just good defense by Monuwe which made him look bad.
IRONMAN tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Monuwe swivels and escapes.
Monuwe with a lazy takedown attempt
and IRONMAN counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Monuwe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. IRONMAN defends it easily.
Monuwe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. IRONMAN doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. IRONMAN manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
IRONMAN drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and IRONMAN jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Monuwe looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round.
IRONMAN has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Monuwe to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! IRONMAN is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Monuwe pulls down on the head and he's put IRONMAN to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Okaohose Monuwe!
