Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tom SMith! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rourk looks for a takedown but SMith sprawls well. SMith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. SMith has closed the distance and engaged Rourk in a clinch.
SMith pushes Rourk back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Rourk looking for a takedown. SMith lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rourk backwards. SMith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. SMith takes the fight into the clinch. Rourk is fighting off a takedown attempt but SMith is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rourk to the mat. Rourk regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. SMith wants to get up but he can't break Rourk's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Rourk trying to keep a closed guard but SMith is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rourk is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Rourk is trying to control the position but SMith postures up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rourk holds on and takes a little breather. Rourk lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for SMith! Rourk controlling from the full mount. SMith stops Rourk from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Rourk there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - SMith has eaten all the pies! SMith tries to hold on but Rourk pushes him away. Rourk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. SMith is looking to improve his position but Rourk isn't that keen on the idea. Rourk wants to take SMith's back here but SMith is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Rourk has control of SMith's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and SMith regains control of the situation pretty easily.
SMith is desperately trying to improve his position but Rourk has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. SMith is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. SMith has given up his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Rourk will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Rourk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Rourk can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as SMith is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rourk working for a submission but SMith is keeping him at bay. SMith is trying desperately to improve position. SMith wants to hold on but Rourk pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rourk controlling from mount. Rourk misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

SMith is breathing heavily. Rourk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rourk can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as SMith is looking to escape. Rourk wants to finish this one by submission but SMith is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rourk.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rourk controlling his opponent. SMith is trying to escape the mount but Rourk keeps good control and instead manages to take SMith's back.
Rourk looking to break SMith's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. SMith remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Rourk will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Rourk wants to control but SMith is keeping busy.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Michael Rourk just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rourk closes this distance looking for a takedown but SMith circles away. SMith scoring well with a low kick there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rourk fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rourk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? SMith is fending him off so far but Rourk persists. Nope, SMith circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Rourk. That's going to take a lot out of him. SMith gets the takedown into side control. Rourk is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. SMith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rourk keeps working. Rourk is pressing down on SMith's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rourk trying to control the position here. Rourk is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rourk is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. SMith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rourk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rourk trying to control from half guard but SMith is working away. Rourk missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. SMith is looking to control Rourk's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can SMith avoid being mounted? Rourk is trying to control the action in half guard but SMith is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rourk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rourk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rourk controlling the position easily from mount. Rourk putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! SMith has left one of his arms exposed and Rourk doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. SMith screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
