The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Romerio avoids it.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.

and Romerio counters with a shoot takedown. Smith fights it but they end up in guard.
Romerio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.
