Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip Dale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dale's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Try A Little Tenderness. Doe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. whatsername, and does she remember my name? kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Philip Dale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dale swings away with a leg kick that misses. Doe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dale looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Dale misses with a series of wild punches.
Dale goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dale missing with a left hand there. Doe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dale moves into range and connects with a jab. Doe cracks the inside of Dale's front leg. Doe throws a body kick that misses. Dale throws a leg kick and Doe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Doe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dale misses the jab. Dale thows a left - swing and a miss! Dale looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Dale counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Doe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dale throws out the jab. Doe moves out of range of the leg kick from Dale. Dale throws a front kick that sends Doe stumbling back into the cage. Doe blocks a jab. Philip Dale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dale shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Doe connects with the punch. Doe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Doe looks to land a combination. Dale sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Doe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dale avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Doe moves away from the strike by Dale.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dale throws a shot from downtown. Doe moves away and avoids it. Dale with a hook. Dale misses the jab. Dale misses with an uppercut. Doe saw that one coming. Dale attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Doe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dale napping and manages to drive through into side control! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dale struggling a bit here. Doe advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe tries to control but Dale wriggling away. Dale is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Doe controlling from the full mount. Dale tries to hold on but Doe postures up. Doe looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Philip Dale dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dale tries to clinch but Doe moves away and Dale takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dale throws a hook but Doe avoids it easily. Philip Dale is winning the standup battle so far. Dale misses with a few strikes there.
Dale buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dale connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Dale lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dale misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dale lands with a nice body kick. Jon Doe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dale with a body punch. A glancing blow. Dale is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Doe. Dale lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dale misses with a looping left. Dale throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A low kick from Dale misses and Doe counters with a slapping leg kick. Dale tries to clinch up and Doe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A big right from Dale misses. Dale throws the kick towards the body but Doe avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dale swinging wildly here.
Dale lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Dale tries to land a front kick but Doe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Dale thows a body shot but no joy. Dale throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Doe thumps Dale with a low kick. Dale turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Doe takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dale throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Doe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fight stays on the outside here - Dale looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Dale misses with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Philip Dale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dale throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Dale lands a right hook to the body.
Dale misses with a jab to the body
and Doe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dale's guard. Dale is pulling down on Doe's head. It's preventing any offense from Doe, at least for the moment. Doe stopping the sweep attempt from Dale.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe is fighting to break Dale's control of his arms but Dale is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Philip Dale dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Doe steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dale. Doe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Doe trying to control but Dale is working from the bottom. Dale wants to sweep but no luck. Doe tries to free his leg and advance position but Dale is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dale controls Doe momentarily but Doe frees himself. Doe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dale wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doe trying to control but Dale is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Doe moves out of range of the strikes. Doe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dale scores with a nice strike. Doe slips a jab from Dale. Dale cracks the inside of Doe's front leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dale throws a leg kick that is checked and Doe counters with an inside leg kick. Dale tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Doe was well out of range. Poor timing from Dale. Dale misses with a kick to the body and Doe counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dale's guard now. Dale wants to sweep but no luck. Dale is working hard here to advance position. Dale is adopting a defensive guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Doe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dale has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
