3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jair Lao! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lao misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Welsh misses with a two punch combination.
Lao takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Welsh drops Lao with a beautiful combination! Lao stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Welsh is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jair Lao has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lao shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lao prevents Welsh from standing back up.
Lao lands strikes from half guard. Welsh is trying to stand up here but Lao is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Welsh trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

A wild punch that just about connected. Welsh lands with a nice combination. Lao backs away looking to recover. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! No joy there for Welsh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Welsh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lao circles away quickly and effectively.
And that's the end of the fight! Johnny Welsh showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Welsh, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
