Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Durandin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyryl Kosowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Durandin drives through with a takedown into guard.

Durandin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kosowski looking for a guillotine here but Durandin defends easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Durandin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kosowski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Durandin's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Durandin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Durandin throws a sloppy head kick and Kosowski moves out of range easily.
Durandin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kosowski.
Kosowski avoids the body shot from Durandin.

and Durandin counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Durandin goes for a takedown attempt but Kosowski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Durandin is looking for a triangle but Kosowski pushes his legs off easily.

Durandin wants to stand and escape but Kosowski is having none of it.

Kosowski looking to sit in guard and control but Durandin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Durandin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kosowski is proving hard to escape from.

Durandin trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Kosowski wants to control but Durandin passes easily into half guard.
Kosowski is trying to maintain the position but Durandin is very close to passing his half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kosowski throws a series of punches but Durandin avoids them all with ease.

Kosowski gets a clinch.
Kosowski lands a damaging elbow.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Kosowski tries to land knees in the clinch but Durandin avoids the damage to the body.
Kosowski swings wildly with an uppercut but Durandin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kosowski looks gassed!
Kosowski is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Durandin is defending well for now.
Kosowski lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Durandin or not.
Kosowski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alexey Durandin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyryl Kosowski.
Durandin tries to circle away but Kosowski has him pinned against the cage.

Durandin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kosowski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Durandin has hold of Kosowski's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kosowski tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Durandin cranks the arm and Kosowski screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kosowski, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
