Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Poluga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogerio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poluga comes to the cage accompanied by My Time Is Now . Gracie has chosen Exhibit C by Jay Electronica as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elvis Poluga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rogerio Gracie! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poluga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Poluga from controlling successfully. Gracie is trying to keep Poluga in close.

Poluga trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Poluga. Poluga pushes down on Gracie's leg and manages to get into half guard. Poluga trying to control from half guard but Gracie is working away. That's one minute gone in the round. Poluga passes the guard and advances to mount! Poluga throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gracie because Poluga loaded up on that one. Poluga has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gracie wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Poluga wants to control the pace but Gracie is squirming around nicely. Poluga cracks Gracie with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Poluga moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gracie has worked his arm free - good work by Gracie!

Poluga is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gracie is surviving well by controlling Poluga's body position as best he can. Poluga is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gracie has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Poluga is landing with some decent strikes but Gracie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Poluga lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Poluga tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Poluga lands a big shot there that rocks Gracie but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poluga looking to control but Gracie is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Poluga lands a nice shot to the head. Poluga with shots to the head and body - Gracie looks very uncomfortable down there. Poluga moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gracie has worked his arm free - good work by Gracie!
Elvis Poluga overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. An elbow from Poluga crashes against the mat.
Poluga tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Poluga has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Poluga working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poluga tries to advance to mount but Gracie denies him. Poluga misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gracie is looking to regain half guard here but Poluga keeps moving and retains side control. Poluga looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gracie tries to bench press Poluga off him but Poluga keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poluga is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Poluga is trying to get an arm triangle but Gracie is defending well. Poluga scoring with punches from side control. Gracie is trying to control Poluga's posture but Poluga avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Poluga controls the position. Gracie manages to get back to half guard. Poluga is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well. Gracie is trying to stand up here but Poluga is controlling him well. Poluga not doing much here.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie. Poluga forces his way into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Poluga closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Poluga is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gracie sees it coming and defends easily. Poluga prevents Gracie from standing back up.

Gracie is staying active underneath Poluga, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gracie tries to get to full guard but Poluga has control of the leg. Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Gracie as Poluga shoots in.

Elvis Poluga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Poluga actively working from the bottom here. Poluga trying to control but Gracie postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Poluga moves out of range of the body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gracie wants to clinch up but Poluga keeps it at a distance. Gracie throws a combination. Poluga tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Rogerio Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Poluga ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away. Gracie tries to clinch up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gracie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rogerio Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Gracie does no damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Rogerio Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Poluga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
