The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffmann fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Toney has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like James Toney has been cut.

Still in the clinch, Hoffmann scores with a nice short uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Hoffmann.

Toney throws a series of punches but Hoffmann avoids them all with ease.
Toney with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hoffmann to score with a decent uppercut.
Toney has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hoffmann finds it's way round the side to connect with Toney's head.
