Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Kuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adaephon Delat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Kuraba!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adaephon Delat!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuraba shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Delat's guard.
Delat thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Kuraba in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Delat wants to sweep but no luck.
Kuraba looking to pass the guard.
Kuraba slips nicely into half guard.
Delat keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kuraba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Delat does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kuraba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Delat as he avoids it easily.
Delat bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Delat stuffs the takedown attempt from Kuraba. Kuraba gets slowly back to his feet.

Delat controls Kuraba momentarily but Kuraba frees himself.

Delat escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kuraba gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kuraba is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Delat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuraba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kuraba postures up in Delat's guard and throws a big left but Delat blocks it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Delat moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kuraba got a little sloppy there for a moment and Delat has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuraba has managed to get both his arms back between Delat's legs - danger averted.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crunch! Delat slams his shin into Kuraba's torso.

Delat avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Delat throws a right hand that Kuraba ducks under and follows up with a left that Kuraba also avoids with ease.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Delat lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kuraba has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kuraba and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Delat explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Delat lands a big head kick that sends Kuraba tumbling to the mat! Delat takes a step backwards and waves Kuraba back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Delat throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Kuraba is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 5, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Adaephon Delat!
