Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapp takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Sapp looks to land a body kick but Hari moved away.
Sapp walks into a left hand.
Hari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hari scores with a jab to the head.

Sapp feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sapp wants to get up but he can't break Hari's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hari should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hari has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sapp is working away from the top position though.

Sapp shoots in for a takedown but Hari shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sapp, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
