The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Youngs dips to his left and cracks McDonnell with an uppercut!
McDonnell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Youngs tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDonnell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Youngs lands a two punch combo.
McDonnell swings for the body but Youngs moves out of range.
Youngs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDonnell but McDonnell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McDonnell connects with a crisp jab.
Youngs ducks under a wild hook from McDonnell.

McDonnell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Youngs manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Youngs doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Youngs has control of McDonnell's left arm, preventing McDonnell from doing any damage.
Youngs is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Youngs holds on and takes a little breather.
Youngs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McDonnell tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Youngs cranks the arm and McDonnell screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from McDonnell, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
