Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Ice Men (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Carwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Ice Men! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carwin throws a series of punches but Ice Men moves out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ice Men displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carwin throws out the jab. Ice Men lands with a right hand. Carwin throws a nice looking combination but Ice Men bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carwin needs to keep his hands up - Ice Men had a free shot at his head there. Ice Men misses with a double jab.
Carwin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ice Men counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ice Men slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ice Men trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carwin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ice Men is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ice Men controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Carwin uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Carwin tries to keep at a distance but Ice Men has taken the fight into the clinch. Carwin working hard to break the clinch. Carwin has had enough of the clinch but Ice Men keeps him there for the moment. Carwin is looking to break free of the clinch but Ice Men has double underhooks. Ice Men manages to break the clinch.
Carwin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Carwin throws a series of punches but Ice Men avoids them all with ease. Ice Men lands a right hook to the body.
Carwin throws a right and a left that Ice Men avoids nicely. Carwin is breathing heavily. Ice Men has Carwin up against the cage in a clinch.
Carwin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ice Men has him pressed against the cage. Carwin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Carwin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Carwin throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ice Men clinches. Carwin looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ice Men breaks the clinch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ice Men darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Carwin is rocked! Ice Men forces Carwin back against the cage and clinches. Oh Carwin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ice Men breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carwin seems to have got his legs back now. Ice Men drops Carwin with a big left hand! Carwin is injured, injured bad! Ice Men jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Ice Men!
